The Happy Planet Index rated Costa Rica as one of the happiest places in live. I know this is true because I’ve been living here over three years and found that my life is infinitely better than living in the United States.
Moving here was not as hard as everyone thought it would be. Costa Ricans are known for their friendliness and have shown me nothing but kindness.
This has been the best experience and there is no doubt I am happier than a billionaire.

I have to agree with you. While not Costa Rica, I did move to Honolulu back in February. Much more expensive but my girlfriend is from here and it rates very high in the happiness index. In fact it was the only US city to make it if I remember. I think we were number 2!
That sounds lovely! I have a friend who lives there and sends me incredible pictures of flowing lava. Doesn’t it make a difference living in an environment where people are more laid back? I don’t know if I could go back to the hectic lifestyle I had. The world is too beautiful and it is worth taking time to admire it.
